Giselle Harrington
Giselle Harrington is an artist and illustrator living in Charleston, South Carolina and Western Massachusetts, and traveling and painting on the road between. She paints watercolor from life to capture the story - through architecture, landscapes and people - of the regions she visits. She grew up in New Hampshire but first came to Charleston in 2010 to stay at a family home on Tradd Street that was purchased by her great-great-grandmother in the early 1900s. She has lived in Charleston on and off for nearly a decade. She recently bought and is renovating a historic house in Western Massachusetts where she will spend part of the year finishing large projects.
Giselle divides her time between teaching watercolor painting for adults, working on illustration projects (mainly book covers), painting commissioned pieces, and her passion - painting the world around her from life. Giselle studied illustration at the School of Visual Arts in New York City where she obtained her MFA in 2018, and studied watercolor painting and drawing at the Art Students League of New York.
